51 years of relationship, love, loneliness and longing
Rachel and Mani (Emanuel) are married for 51 years. They fight for their relationship against the loneliness of ageing and disability.
Rachel's mood swings between optimism and the love of life against hopelessness and despair.
Everyday she goes out to "work", caretaking of Mani in the rehabilitation center and then goes back to sleep alone on the house.
Mani, a strong optimistic person, have had a stroke. He cries each time Rachel arrives: He wants to go home.
Rachel recollects herself, leaves the the house she loved and rents another apartment with an elevator. She also hires a caretaker, so that Mani could leave in the house.
So why does she feel she's like thin air?
